About the Presenter:
Dr Colin Tan is a Consultant ophthalmologist and Clinician-Researcher from the Department of Ophthalmology, Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He is also the Head of the Fundus Image Reading Center, NHG Eye Institute. He completed a Clinical Research Fellowship in Medical Retina and Retinal Imaging at the Doheny Eye Institute, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA. His research interests include vitreoretinal conditions such as age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy; myopia and its complications; cataract surgery, epidemiology, and retinal imaging techniques. In addition to an active clinical practice and research, Dr. Tan also has a keen interest in education throughout his career. He is a Clinical Senior Lecturer under the National University of Singapore Clinical Faculty Scheme
