About the Presenter:
Dr Kontari Ioanna is an eye surgeon with experience in refractive surgery, cataract surgery, glaucoma and medical retina.
Her medical degree was awarded from the Medical School of the University of Craiova and validated from the Medical School of the University of Patras. During her ophthalmology residency she worked as associate ophthalmologist at the “Ophthalmos” eye institute and the “Hygeia” Hospital.
Her scientific work includes among others numerous presentations in ophthalmology congresses in Greece and abroad in the subject of refractive surgery.
Dr Kontari Ioanna is working in private practice in Athens as an associate of Laservision Institute. She also instructed the subject of Hygiene in the School of Tourism Management. She has participated as an instructor at clinical and wetlab courses for modern cataract surgery and microincisional phaco and as coordinator of live surgery during ophthalmological congresses.
