About the Presenter:
Lead author Erica Magana, COA and co-author Paola Castaneda, COA, have provided skilled ophthalmic services to patients of Florida Eye Institute for over 8 years. Ms. Magana contributed integral biometric measurements for a 2012 study published in the Journal of Cataract & Refractive Surgery by Dr. John V. Zudans. The study: Comparison of prediction error: Labeled versus unlabelled intraocular lens manufacturing tolerance inspired her and Ms. Castaneda to evaluate the significance of novel lens calculations with post-operative results for cataract patients.
