About the Presenter:
Ruth Lapid-Gortzak MD PhD is a cornea, cataract, and refractive surgeon both academically at the Academic Medical Center affiliated with the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and at a private refractive surgery clinic: Retina Total Eye Care in Driebergen. The research interest lies in outcomes of refractive surgery, premium IOLs, and straylight. She has published in the field together with her team: Dr. van der Meulen, Dr. Nieuwendaal, and Jan Willem van der Linden, and has an enduring cooperation in the field of straylight research with Dr. Tom van den Berg.
