About the Presenter:
Carmen Canovas is Optical Scientist at Abbott Medical Optics. She got her BSc in physics and MSc in optics and materials in 2005 in the University of Murcia in Spain. Then, she worked as pre-doctoral researcher under the supervision of Pablo Artal until 2010 when she joined AMO. In 2012 she gained her PhD degree in visual sciences. As result of her research in the visual optics field in subjects as adaptive optics, computational optical modelling and IOL power calculations, she has attended and presented in more than fifteen international meetings and is author of several articles in peer review journals.
